Rich Redmond is a client of mine.  He’s the drummer for Jason Aldean.  Rich posted a testimonial on Facebook about your Drum Muffs and I went to your site and bought a set. I received my Drum Muffs yesterday and I just placed them on my set and I cannot believe how great these work!  I have tried everything from wads of duct tape to taped on tampons and gel pads and could never get the sound I was after.  I got my first drum set in 5th grade.  Today is my 53rd birthday and I bought these for myself.  I finally have that dead 70’s rock sound I’ve been looking for all these years.  Funny that something so simple could make an old man so happy!

Dave was like most drummers. There was no way he was going to put any kind of “Muff” (or anything else) on his kit. You should learn to play with dynamics and tune the kit properly is the common thought.

Well, he was hired by a band to play on a set that had Drum Muffs on them. Long story short – he loves them and especially likes one on his ride cymbal. We just sent out a custom set for our new friend Dave! If you want to become a “Muff” believer, order a set!

These things are great for drummers, and do exactly what they say. I’m using them right now. For smaller clubs and rehearsals, they’re great for bringing down the level of the cymbals without sacrificing tone. They still sing, but the volume is reduced. It really works. I just use a small one on the bell. The snare has them on top and bottom. It’s fat and crisp, without ringing when the toms are hit, kinda like the old wallet trick, but better. Toms don’t ring throughout the whole song, but sound great with a small one on the bottom head and a medium one on top. The boing is gone, but the tone is still there. Way better than getting a plastic shield, the kit sounds tight, but not super loud. Check them out.
