Thank you for investing in Drum Muff products. Nick and I want to make sure your experience is as good as possible. We have a few tips to share with you.
First use – Try different sizes in different locations. DO NOT press them on hard on first use! Lightly place on cymbals and drums. Once you get the sound you want, press them on a little harder.
Cleaning – If the adhesive gets dirty, simply clean with soap and water. The entire piece is water resistant.
Locations – To reduce the volume more, simply move the Drum Muff closer to the outside edge of the cymbal. Most users find either on the bell or just below is perfect for most uses. If you want to play at home and noise is an issue, use our Cymbal Muff.
Removing and Reusing – Most drummers keep their Drum Muffs in the same location once they settle into the sound they want. However, if you want to move and replace one, carefully lift the Drum Muff and place in another location.
Miracle Spray – Most uses are best with a clean micro-fiber cloth. Spray right on the cloth about three times from a distance of about 8″. Apply to product, then buff with another clean cloth. Once done, the product should not show finger prints. A little goes a long way!
